The matter to Believe is that the codec — Senso doesn’t clearly promote the codec, but our tests showed it had been transmitting audio via our phones or computers utilizing the lossiest SBC protocol, meaning that a considerable degradation in sound quality. It is important to keep in mind, although it’s to be expected at this price point.

One last point on audio SENSO has loaded in Qualcomm’s CVC 6.0. It isn’t the same as active sound canceling, that needs a noise to be projected to cancel out sound. Instead, it’s a protocol utilizing proprietary algorithms to help steer clear of some external noise and explain the sound. It’s essential to note that the technology was made mostly during cell phone calls for sound handling, and we did not notice much discount ourselves by your ear simply out of the suppression that is normal. But, in the day’s end, the audio quality here will suffice for both workouts and casual commute use.

We spent We, and about three or four times with these cans can confidently state that you’ll find a ton of battery life.

These buds comprise an 85 MAh battery which you can recharge using a short, included micro-USB cable. Senso’s spec sheet lists the hours of play time at around 8 hours of usage and up to 240 hours of standby time. They also claim that you can charge up the headphones fully in under two hours.

We spent about three or Four times with these headphones, and we can state you’ll get a lot of battery life. Obviously, the 240 hours of standby is a nice safety net, therefore we weren’t surprised to see them once we shut them off and tossed them. From our estimateswe have closer to ten hours of music and podcast listening, and that’s with high volume.

Price: A great bargain

Shortcomings aside SENSO ActivBuds sit at the time of this writing. A cursory search reveals us that they don’t often cost more or less than that. This sets them firmly at the very low end of Bluetooth earbuds that are worth purchasing, but using a couple attributes that punch way above their weight. Besides great battery life and volume, the ActivBuds arrive with a couple accessories. As a whole package, it’s hard to beat this offer, although the jury is out on how good these freebie accessories are.

Competition: A lot of the same, with little to differentiate

There is a strange, You’re either paying $20 to $50 or $80 to $150. The competition for the ActivBuds is the array, and in that category, you’ll come across offerings from manufacturers such as Anker, Mpow, and Zagg. The Senso’s have nothing special to make them stand out against the Mpow Flame which has a similar price and feature set, but by the same token, there’s nothing which makes them worse either.

These Bluetooth headphones offer sound, good fit, and an affordable price tag.

The Senso ActivBuds do what they are supposed to and last a long time. There is little to distinguish them but the build quality seems good, the match is customizable, and also music listeners should be, while cloudy, serviced by the audio quality.
